Honouring Truth and Reconciliation: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada, a day dedicated to recognizing and honouring the survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities. It is a time to reflect on the harmful legacy of the residential school system and commit to the ongoing process of truth, healing, and reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.

We acknowledge the significance of this day and stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities across Canada. We recognize the importance of listening to and amplifying Indigenous voices, supporting Indigenous-led initiatives, and actively working towards building more inclusive and equitable spaces for all.

Our directory includes resources and programs aimed at supporting Indigenous peoples' health and well-being. From Indigenous-led health services and cultural programs to educational resources and advocacy groups, we strive to provide a platform that uplifts Indigenous voices and fosters understanding and respect.
