Provides employment transition programs and services in the Comox Valley area.
CEAS offers a variety of resources and tools to empower job seekers and support employers.

WorkBC Employment Services Centre:
  • One-on-one support from employment counsellors to help develop “back-to-work” plans.
  • Job search assistance and labour market information.
  • Workshops to build job-seeking skills.
  • Access to computers, printers, internet and other job-search resources.
  • Potential financial supports for training, wage subsidies and other employer-linked programs (for eligible participants).
  • Specialized support for individuals facing barriers to employment (e.g. youth, immigrants, people with disabilities)

Job Seeker Resources & Supports:
  • Job bank listings and job search tools.
  • Resume and interview support via blogs and job-seeker resources.
  • Labour market information and upcoming WorkBC events.
  • Referrals to other community services.
Employer Services:
  • Job posting services and hiring events.
  • WorkBC Wage Subsidy Program assistance (helping employers access wage subsidies to hire eligible job seekers).
  • Employer resources and labour market information.
Comox Valley Community Directory: CEAS produces a Community Services Directory that lists local programs and resources, covering categories like health, housing, youth services, Indigenous organizations, etc. It’s a reference tool for the public and service providers.
