- Upgrading: One-to-one tutoring in reading, writing and basic numeracy to support with high school completion and building skills for college entry.
- Digital Literacy: New to computers? Struggling with your iPhone? This tutoring program is designed to meet the needs of beginners on any device.
- Workshops: Offering in-person groups for upgrading and digital literacy. Up to four participants can meet at our office for workshops on online safety, using Google Docs and other literacy topics.
- Tech Drop In: Offered Monday and Wednesday afternoons, this informal drop-in allows community members with questions on using their technology to get one-to-one support on site! Bring you smartphone, laptop or tablet with you or use one of our computers.
- Community Book Bike: Free books and Family Literacy information for all ages
- Computer Access Program: Free refurbished laptops for low income community members.
- Valley Storywalks: Children’s storybooks in outdoor settings for families to enjoy.
- Tech Tuesdays: Tuesday afternoon tech drop in and digital literacy support for adults at the Courtenay Library.
- Family Digital Literacy: Online apps to promote togetherness and wellbeing.
