Offers a variety of fun fitness, art, and social activities for individuals of all ages with diverse needs and abilities.
Adapted Programs strives in making recreation accessible for everyone by providing special programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. Adapted & Inclusive Programs offers a variety of fun fitness, art, and social activities for individuals of all ages with diverse needs and abilities. There is a small fee for the activities which is typically around $3 to $5. A list of current activities and events is available online. Some past activities have included:
  • Bingo
  • Talent show
  • Dance
  • Karate
  • Chair fitness
  • Archery
  • Cooking
  • Leisure buddies
  • Sewing
  • Cards

Pre-registration is required for Adapted Programs and can be done online here, in-person at the Lewis Centre or Florence Filberg Centre, or over the phone at 250-338-5371.
